TODO: Turkmenistan

[edit]

There are at the moment 14 cables from Turkmenistan: http://www.wikileaks.ch/origin/118_0.html I seem to recall seeing Guardian or other third party POVs on what is notable in some of these Turkmenistan cables. Boud (talk) 01:38, 1 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I added some info on Turkmenistan including a bit about its leader on the analysis of leaders page and a bit about two companies involved in Turkmenistan in the companies section. --Drwwht (talk) 17:33, 2 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Citing cables

[edit]

Suggestion: use non-wikileaks sources for notability, and the cables themselves as direct sources either for direct quotes and/or to make sure that the reader has easy access to make his/her own judgment. Suggested citation style:

  • <ref name="01CITYNAME1234">{{cite document| last =| first =| authorlink =| coauthors =| title =| id={{WikiLeaks cable|01CITYNAME1234}} |work =| publisher =[[WikiLeaks]]| date =| url = |format =| doi =| accessdate = |archiveurl= |archivedate= |deadurl=no }}</ref>
  • webcitation can be used for archiveurl and archivedate
