Last heard... down to two teams... no news if their inaugural weekend (23rd and 24th) was a go... I think this league is dead in the water. DMighton (talk) 05:24, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What a total shock that a 4 team independent "Jr" league owned and operated by a guy who has a record of about 5 failed 4-5 team "semi-pro" leagues failed :-P. On a more serious note- I agree about the league being dead- websites, schedules, and news have all not been updated in at least a month. The league is barely notable but seems to just meet the criteria, but generally what's been done in the past is to delete team pages of barely notable/low level Jr semi pro and minor pro teams that never played. Well, it seems that their season started... I don't see a future in the league... but I guess we'll have to wait and see... lol. DMighton (talk) 07:44, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

First, are they with the AAU or not? After the announcement of the audit, most mentions of the AAU were removed... I'm thinking that the deal might have fallen through... also there is no mention of them on the AAU website that I can see...

Second, the AAU is a recognized sanctioning body of American sport... irregardless of them not being members of USA Hockey, the alignment technically makes the league no longer independent... also both USAH and the AAU are recognized by the IOC... that carries a lot of weight -- Even if the league is kinda a joke...
