Fiji, Liechtenstein, South Sudan
[edit]Fiji, Liechtenstein have acceded, South Sudan is a new State Member of the United Nations and the flag lists have therefore to be updated. I already updated the number in the text.

Supersedes state law
[edit]The section under "United States Issues" concerning whether the Convention "preempts" (really, the right word is "supersedes") state law is pretty confusing and should be rewritten. A discussion of whether "self-executing treaties" supersede state law also doesn't really belong in this article. Whether or not THIS Convention is "self-executing" is irrelevant because it HAS been "executed" by being incorporated into federal statutory law. Therefore, it DOES supersede state law. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Papillonderecherche (talk • contribs) 19:29, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
- Shouldn't that be "supercede" ? 210.22.142.82 (talk) 07:30, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
- There is no dispute in this page re: pre-emption, therefore, I'm editing the page today to correct the subject mis-statement ("does not preempt").Patent.drafter (talk) 15:53, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
Non-sovereign Territories, colonies, etc.
[edit]I created a new subset of Overseas Territories of European countries which have had the Convention extended to them, but just looking at the Cats the bottom (which I assume are accurate), it looks like the Convention has also been extended to a lot of other non-sovereign states (Puerto Rico, USVI, Navassa Island, Panama Canal zone, etc.). Does anyone have a source for a comprehensive list so I can make sure everything is included? --Legis (talk - contribs) 00:42, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

Andorra is not colored in the graph
[edit]Andorra is not colored in the graph, although it has ratified the Convention. Should this be fixed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 37.201.7.161 (talk) 21:18, 13 November 2018 (UTC)
Iraq signed the convention a year ago
[edit]There are now 169 states that are members of the convention according to the website of the New York Convention. https://www.newyorkconvention.org/news/iraq+accedes+to+the+new+york+convention
