I have marked this page as a copyright violation, and I think the reason is fairly obvious. (On the bright side, Wikipedia never claimed to have written that material, as the user who added it credited Scifi.com.)

Anyways, I moved the last non-copyvio version to the temporary page, crediting the 3 contributors up to that point, though unfortunately that is not the same as a history. Feel free to continue work over there. Armedblowfish 15:15, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

An anon blanked to copyvio material. (See the edit history). However, because the copyvio material is still in the history, the page still needs to be deleted. Armedblowfish 15:38, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
The anon was actually Lockesdonkey, and he or she also replaced the material, but, as explained above, the page must still be deleted. Armedblowfish 16:40, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I already wrote a new summary for this article and I copied it into the temp article. You can use it. Diabound00 17:55, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

For future reference, it's ok if copyvio material remains in the page history. Just remove it. I deleted this page and moved the other from Temp, because I couldn't really wade through all those edits, and it looks like some else already did that for me. Hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions. --Fang Aili 說嗎? 01:06, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Goof: when Sheppard escapes his room and they track him though Atlantis, the text next to his icon on the schematic map displays - instead of something informative on him - a fragment of C++ code: "FOR (INT N = 0; N < COL; N++) // NORMALIZE REMAINING VALUE TO 1" I don't know how, where, or whether to insert that at all in the main article, so it's here :) --89.57.71.140 04:56, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Conversion (Stargate Atlantis).jpg[edit]

Image:Conversion (Stargate Atlantis).jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
