The Purbecks[edit]

Not sure what the original author meant by The Purbecks, which is possibly a reference to one or more of the Isle of Purbeck, the Purbeck Hills, or the Purbeck local government district. I'm sure Coombe Keynes is in the last of these, less sure about the others, so I've disambiguated to the district. If you know better, feel free to change. -- Chris j wood 12:36, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A plea to save Coombe Keynes[edit]

Although itself never a place of any great importance, Coombe Keynes was once the centre of a significant parish. Any account of the history of Dorset and its administrative structure would be incomplete without it. 81.151.28.43 (talk) 17:34, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
