Merger proposal

[edit]

@Albiet and Fergananim: The article Cormac MacDonlevy is the anglicised name of the same individual. I propose a merger to this as the Irish name is most commonly used.--GeneralBelly (talk) 18:14, 27 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Strong support - the articles are duplicates and must be merged. This page has been a stub until fairly recently, is it possible to merge its new content into Cormac MacDonlevy? Then the merged result can be moved to the Irish name if that is more appropriate. -M.Nelson (talk) 13:04, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to oppose this merger, or rather request its undone, until evidence is provided over what it more common. The article could easily also merged the other way. Mabuska (talk) 21:10, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Cambridge DIB makes use of this name so it seems to have good scholarly weight behind it. More concern however should have been directed to the substance of the article which was a joke in how it was referenced full of puffer, OR and speculation. Most has been fixed now.
