Online sources not as good as I hoped. I know that Cauthen rated her VERY highly, but I couldn't find a ref. Things were much tougher for fillies back then. Once a filly passed the late summer of her three-year-old season she had to race against colts to win a G1 in Europe. Keeping good fillies in training didn't make much sense unless they were exceptional. Tigerboy1966  19:22, 6 August 2013 (UTC)

Might be able to find some written sources here in due course. Better times for fillies now, although I sometimes feel they have created too many opportunities for fillies at G1 level. But them I'm not an owner nor a breeder... I well remember watching her Champion Stakes win on TV - not Dettori snr's finest hour! Bcp67 (talk) 17:37, 7 August 2013 (UTC)--
