Character page?[edit]

I think we should add a new article for the characters of the Corpse Party series. The list on this page not only makes the article unnecessarily long (not to mention it's written almost entirely in an in-universe perspective), but it only applies to the characters as they are depicted in Corpse Party: Blood Covered, rather than the series as a whole. Until then, I am editing the "Plot" section to include the general "Story" and "Characters" of the series to closer adhere to the guidelines for anime- and manga-related articles (I understand this is primarily a video game series, but it still seems appropriate). Make a different page[edit]

Although corpse party is primarily a video game series, the manga, from what my friend has told me, is significantly different, and the other versions of the game (the original especially) portray the characters differently and have a different storyline entirely in a few cases. That means there should be a separate article entirely for the different installments, or a separate plot section for each game. I realize Book Of Shadows is just a "what if" supplement to the PSP version of the game, but it has a plot of its own, as does Blood Drive and the different mangas, OVAs and the other things. This article is very confusing because it tries to cover just the roughly general storyline of every installment at once. Please make several plot sections, it would really help...

I can't say I have put much effort into it, but I wasn't able to find any reliable sources covering the manga. If someone can find enough to establish notability, please do start a separate article for it, but right now I am mostly interested in finding something to confirm what we have on the manga right now. ~Mable (chat) 10:35, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

POV whitewashing: Sexualization of minors.[edit]

The main notable thing of this franchise is the pedophillic nature of the material, as of the sequel and beyond. It reads like a really corny porno movie, but with 10 year old girls having creepy lesbian sex sleepovers. The vast majority of the content is focused on the sexualization of minors, and it is content which is of questionable legal nature in many jurisdictions. How this entire article can read like a fanfiction summary of the franchise by a PR firm without a single reference to the fact the entire franchise has turned into a stick flick for kiddy fiddlers is beyond me. At least be realistic; this game is for pedos who like 10 year old girls. It doesn't seem to hide it, nor do the creators seem to have the mental faculty to even be aware of their criminality. In my country--Australia--the creators (and anyone innocently downloading this) would be imprisoned for child sex offences just for making this, so the fact not a single reference to this is made is a clear indicator of a POV whitewashing. There is no way any adult of sound mind can reasonably argue that this is not pedophillic in nature, nor designed to be so. Even pithy arguments on 'cultural' grounds of 'lol/ohJapan' can't write off the fact it is all about the sexualization of and the sexual relationships of children. Please, editors, keep true to NPOV. 121.211.56.55 (talk) 08:44, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well, grab some reliable sources that pointed this out then. There doesn't seem to be a reception section at all, let alone a location to place such controversy. ~Mable (chat) 09:49, 28 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Quite the opposite, adding this sort of garbage would be WP:NPOV (specifically WP:FRINGE) and original research violations. Your comments above do not reflect the general reactions of reliable sources. Sergecross73 msg me 13:32, 29 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

B-Class Notes[edit]

It seems like this article is improving. All the major sections are present and there's a good amount of referencing. I would expand the article with particular attention to the reception section. Edit, refine, etc. --Kraftlos (Talk | Contrib) 10:10, 20 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reviews[edit]

This article could do with some expansion of the reception section with some reviews. Here's one of the game from IGN. G S Palmer (talkcontribs) 04:55, 1 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
