Doubled article

[edit]

The CDG has awarded designers for their achievements in costumes for fantasy films since its inception in 1999. There was previously a special combined category for Excellence in Period/Fantasy for Film, which was given out from 1999 to 2004. In 2005, the category was split between period and fantasy films into Excellence in Period and Excellence in Fantasy films, respectively. For some reason, there are currently two articles about the CDG Award for fantasy films: this article and the Costume Designers Guild Award for Excellence in Fantasy Film, which is confusing. A better solution, in my opinion, is to merge those two articles to avoid creating pointless double pages containing the same information. LordTort (talk) 07:57, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
