Country ThingsCountry Things Vol. 1 – article is about the individual album, and making one article about a double album usually does not work very well, cases in point, 5fdp and Demon Hunter. -- Jax 0677 (talk) 12:17, 31 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose. I was for this initially but this was a split of a two-part album, and together it is considered his 10th studio album. A "volume 2" was never released just the full album at a later date. This seems to be a growing trend in the age of downloading and streaming music. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 17:06, 1 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
So should there be a separate article for Country Things since there was no volume 2 release? A joint article that includes info on both volume 1 and the full release is the best way to proceed here. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 04:49, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at the article, there is no mention of this "full release". Is there more information that should be added? 162 etc. (talk) 17:33, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I researched most of this article prior to the full release, but most of the info regarding production applies to the entire album, not just volume one. The number of songs is the only reason it was split in the first place. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 18:13, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The entire article is about Vol 1. There is no mention whatsoever about a full release. I see by this Billboard reference [1] that "Vol 1." was released in October 2020, followed by "Country Things" in December 2020, so clearly, the article needs to be updated to reflect that. Is it just a re-release with a few added tracks? Or a completely separate album like The Fame/The Fame Monster? 162 etc. (talk) 18:34, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It is neither. It is an album that was released in two parts. 8 songs were released last October and 8 songs were released on November 27, making up the complete Country Things album. The full album is considered his 10th studio album, not his 10th and 10th and a half album. I agree an update is required and information on both volumes should be included in one article. Fixing The Length

[edit]

I was going to see if somebody would fix the length of both volumes of the album country things by Granger Smith and then fix the total length of the entire album 2601:4C2:100:1000:5DE5:E8E7:ADB2:9B1D (talk) 23:22, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
