Proposed merge with Allan Park, Aberdeen[edit]

I propose to merge Allan Park, Aberdeen into Cove Rangers F.C. as the ground is not notable independently of the club. Most of the sourced content relates to new stadium plans rather than Allan Park itself and is better dealt with elsewhere. Jellyman (talk) 13:36, 29 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merger has been reversed, presumably as there hasn't been adequate discussion or closure on my original proposal. Please offer opinions here rather than making a bold change at this point. Jellyman (talk) 17:17, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't aware of the original proposal, but less than a week seems a bit quick between suggesting and merging given the low importance of the article. I believe Highland League grounds are generally notable, obviously this is a former venue and sourced weakly as you pointed out, so I think discussion on the pros and cons would be the best course. My own preference would be to add some references and keep the article if any are available. If not, maybe merge is the way to go. Crowsus (talk) 23:41, 4 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
