The cricket people have set up a separate stubby article for Coxheath Common. I suggest this is merged into this article, as this article is clearly talking about the ancient heath just as much as the modern village, and the dates of sporting usage illuminate the military usage somewhat. And 8 matches aren't going to overwhelm this article! 86.27.171.145 (talk) 23:06, 28 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think that it really depends on what the intention is in progressing the Coxheath Common article. Looking at some of the other articles in that cricket venue category, there is definitely potential for a proper standalone article, although how much scope there is for a venue that hosted only 8 first class games I don't know. As it stands, this stub looks much more like an article section than a standalone article and I do think that the Coxheath article would benefit from its inclusion. danno 13:16, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Keep as it is. This is a notable early cricket venue, notable enough to be a stand alone article. As per WP:CRIC, provided it has held major cricket matches (first-class, List-A or Twenty20), then it is notable enough to have its own individual article. PS: Seeing as this merge was proposed in August 2009, it is safe to say the merge proposal is inactive and thus null and void. AssociateAffiliate (talk) 14:49, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
