The American Cowboy link is temporarily unavailable (January, 2015). It will return soon, or be replaced by a more direct but as yet unknown link to the original Western Writers Association publication. The word that sounds like "Quantro" in the Don Edwards version of the song is probably, but far from certainly, "Quantrill", whose activities were contemporaneous with those of the other characters mentioned.
