Changes

[edit]

Awhile back with the instruction and permission of Craig Crawford I expanded on his biographical stub. This was done with information from him, his book jackets, and the article from Orlando Magazine that he had been given permission to use. Someone came in and deleted two paragraphs. I have reinstated the paragraph about his partner, David Blank. This is NOT to be changed per Craig and David's instruction. Thank you

Thank you. I'm not familiar with Wikipedia rules and regulations. I was simply trying to fulfill the requests of the person being referenced as it was all approved and sourced by individual permission, a blog, two books, and a magazine article. Therefor if anyone changes it, I will simply change it back.

The user verified that he is in fact Craig Crawford (see history page) and commented that "There are many incorrect or broken links in the original. Fixed links, added citations, etc. I can be reached at craig.crawford@verizon.net if there are questions." Also, as far as incorrect links, we'll check those out but most links are citation links that work. I've removed the two broken links from External Websites.--RossF18 (talk) 20:04, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

At long last, I've read and absorbed your rules (especially on autobiography) and now get it. So I will confine any future edits to making sure the links and citations are correct, or ask advice if there is something more involved. Thanks to RossF18 for your patience. If ever there are questions, I can be reached at craig.crawford@verizon.net. Craigcrawford (talk) 20:46, 15 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Clintons and 2008 campaign

[edit]

I don't think that this paragraph belongs. It seems WP:UNDUE, since undoubtedly Crawford has taken other positions. I'm not at all sure what the point is. I would actually like to delete it, but that leaves the article a bit short. LaMona (talk) 01:40, 8 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Closure of Mount Morgan aged care

[edit]

I was very distressed to hear of the imminent closure of this aged care facility where my 98 year old mother in-law is a resident. Apparently this has come about because of the inability to address the federal government's legislation which requires 24/7 nursing care. These regional aged care facilities have great difficulty in acquiring medical staffing as do all medical facilities including hospitals. The residents at Mt Morgan Summit Cottages are long term locals and as such have close family nearby and know the staff. If the requirements to gain staff are prohibitive perhaps the relaxing of the COVID requirements on the medical staff would partly alleviate this problem. I would appreciate discussing this issue with you as these residents are in their 80s and 90s are are being threatened with total upheaval 2001:8003:7C5B:8901:6174:D0B:A386:F4FD (talk) 10:46, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
