Paya Ltd[edit]

The article currently claims that, along with Gosling, he's co-director of Paya Ltd. I've Goodled this, but without success. The reference provided (i.e., the Companies House website) seems to need someone with access. I'm assuming it was added in good faith by someone with a user account, but can someone either verify it or find a better one? TheRetroGuy (talk) 16:36, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There's certainly a company with that name and registration number, but I can find no reference to Oliver or Gosling (other than on Wikipedia). Googling for "Craig Stewart Oliver" confirms the BBC World directorship, and shows references to other companies, but not Paya. TheRetroGuy (talk) 18:02, 3 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comment: Further to my earlier post. While both have received significant national honours in their respective countries, my feeling is that the the British Craig Oliver meets the criteria as a primary topic because of his role in government, which he held for several years. If others disagree and the discussion closes as a no move it will be worth considering a move to another title since the title journalist does not properly represent the subject. Oppose: Craig Oliver is a disambiguation page, because there is a Canadian journalist at Craig Oliver (Canadian journalist). Both articles receive significant average daily pageviews (Canadian = 38/day for the past year, British = 47/day for the past year, including tons of views in the last few days). Both have received significant national-level honours. It may be reasonable to change the title of this article to reflect the wider range of experience, in part because he's recently made a lot of media appearances as a pundit of sorts, but it is difficult to justify splitting up the disambiguation page for what is essentially recentism.
