Screenshot

[edit]

I am struggling to find a useable in-game screenshot to illustrate this article. All the screenshots I can find are either from the promo video, or the in-game ones have watermarks and are of far to high a quality. I will keep looking on the internet as I do not know how to produce screenshots myself. AirRaidPatrol 84 (talk) 12:49, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

B-Class assessment

[edit]
  1. The article is suitably referenced, with inline citations where necessary. Red XN -The Gameplay section is not referenced at all, and DarkZero is not a reliable source
It has reliable sources, and any important or controversial material which is likely to be challenged is cited. The use of citation templates such as {{cite web}} is not required, but the use of <ref></ref> tags is encouraged.
  2. The article reasonably covers the topic, and does not contain obvious omissions or inaccuracies. Red XN -Given that its a 360 release, the article should have enough sources to cover the game. Consider moving this article to Crash Time (series) and covering all three games there to given you enough content.
It contains a large proportion of the material necessary for an A-Class article, although some sections may need expansion, and some less important topics may be missing.
  3. The article has a defined structure. Green tickY
Content should be organized into groups of related material, including a lead section and all the sections that can reasonably be included in an article of its kind.
  4. The article is reasonably well-written. Red XN -B class articles should be free of maintenance tags. If updates are needed they should be completed prior to nomination
The prose contains no major grammatical errors and flows sensibly, but it certainly need not be "brilliant". The Manual of Style need not be followed rigorously.
  5. The article contains supporting materials where appropriate. Green tickYRed XN -Yes and no. The article contains a screenshot, but the screen shows nothing particularly special about the game, nor does the caption explain what's going on or any features.
Illustrations are encouraged, though not required. Diagrams and an infobox etc. should be included where they are relevant and useful to the content.
  6. The article presents its content in an appropriately accessible way. Green tickY
It is written with as broad an audience in mind as possible. Although Wikipedia is more than just a general encyclopedia, the article should not assume unnecessary technical background and technical terms should be explained or avoided where possible.

Overall it's definitely an excellent progression towards B-Class, but it's not there just yet. Suggestions:

  • Merge all three games to Crash Time (series). Expand the other two game sections. It's doubtful you'll get enough content, reliable sources, etc to have it as a solo article and GA or above class.
  • Images - add alt text, find images that show something unique about Crash Time, and describe either a gameplay feature or the image better
  • Copy edits need to be done. Consider soliciting help from the Guild of Copy Editors.

I'm glad to see someone working on Syntec articles. They've had some pretty good games, and nobody has taken the time to write about them until now.

VERDICT: - Remains C class. I think the potential is there for B class, but to potentially get GA and above I would go the Crash Time (series) route. --Teancum (talk) 13:33, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why is there a separate article for Crash Time II: Burning Wheels?

[edit]

There's a separate article for Crash Time II: Burning Wheels Crash_Time_II

Recommend merge.

Are we *sure* the "MPV" is an Opel Zefira?

[edit]

This is the screen cap of the MPV from the game:

The term "MPV" is often used for Mazda MPV, which was NOT exported to Germany. Instead, German got the Mazda 5

Here's the Mazda 5

Mazda 5 minivan

Which, to my inexperienced eye, looks about the same as the Zefira:

Opel Zefira B

I think the nose is far more closer to the Mazda 5 than the Opel Zafira.
