Just curious... what the devil is a 'feral' flavor? Feral denotes something that was domesticated, and has escaped back to a wild habitat. I could see it being attributed to the Hawthorn plant itself, if it was, for example, brought to the U.S. from another country as a cultivar, but then began to grow wild, but in what way can a taste or flavor be said to be feral? 75.89.100.205 13:50, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
