Oldest club in London

[edit]

Wanderers can't be the "oldest club in London", they were founded in Kent and played in Kent until the creation of Greater London in 1965. They can be the "second oldest club in the world", but not the oldest in London, that distinction belongs to Fulham Cheers, Lion King 10:25, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This was added to St Paul's Cray article, this information should appear here as it's the main topic of the paragraph. There are no reference with it at the moment, unless the user is adding one later.

"Cray Wanderers were looking to return to the area at Sandy Lane. In September 2013, permission to develop Sandy Lane was refused by LB Bromley. Cray Wanderers announced on 6 October 2014 an intention to purchase Flamingo Park, adjacent to the A20 Sidcup by-pass, subject to receiving planning permission from LB Bromley for a football stadium and sports centre to be built there."

based in Kent?

[edit]

The first sentence is Cray Wanderers F.C. is an English semi-professional football club based in Bromley, Kent.
Nope, that is not true. It was founded in Bromley, Kent but since 1965 based in Bromley, Greater London. 93.106.185.132 (talk) 00:02, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
