references don't work

Neutrality
[edit]Seems to confirm police corruption, rather than report accusations and concern. Green daemon (talk) 19:41, 8 January 2016 (UTC)
- Which section are you referring to? All the parts about police under-reporting of crime are sourced from statements from HMIC or Tom Winsor, Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Constabulary, rather than accusations from newspapers or similar. I can't see anywhere where corruption is mentioned. Perhaps you could suggest a specific edit to deal with your concerns? Absolutelypuremilk (talk) 09:55, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
I believe it has been cleaned up since January. Green daemon (talk) 13:09, 21 April 2016 (UTC)

No criming listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect No criming. Please participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. WPCW (talk) 15:30, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
I want to provide a rationale for my significant edits today. (1) I have removed the 'factual inaccurate' template. My view is that the issue of the template is fixed. Additionally, the comment on that template that 'no-criming' is no longer in use is wrong, and conflicts with the article text causing confusion. (2) I have altered the lead into the article to avoid unnecessary duplication of information contained in the main text. I have also made mention of third-party reporting, such as vulnerable people reporting hate crimes to an agency for quantification, that are separate from victim services and notifiable crime police statistics. I acknowledge this will mean having to include a section about third-party reporting during the development of the article. (3) I have changed the heading 'no-criming' to 'police statistics'. The opinion is that 'no criming' is one is only one aspect of the discussion about the accuracy and validity of police crime statistics. (4) I have edited the 'no-criming' / 'police statistics' section. I have attempted to retain all of the previous material whilst adding to it, and attempted to re-write the section in the same tone as previous versions. As the earlier version, I believe it remains unbiased and based on good verifiable sources. Please let me know if you have any comments etc. Regards, WPCW (talk) 20:19, 23 May 2018 (UTC)
