Name change
[edit]Does anyone know when the name of the award changed from Hutch-Crossword Book Award to the new name of Vodafone Crossword Book Award? I'd like to use the correct name in the article's of authors who won before the name change. Cloveapple (talk) 05:02, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
- Per the article: "2005. Last year known as the Hutch Crossword Book Award." Green Cardamom (talk) 06:06, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
- Oops. I obviously need glasses. Thanks. Cloveapple (talk) 06:53, 13 June 2011 (UTC)
Already there is a page called Crossword Book Award and a new page is there called Hutch Crossword Book Award. Why??. Should delete it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Manendra (talk • contribs) 12:58, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
Mysterious award
[edit]This is a mysterious award.
- The dedicated website has been taken over by spammers (won't link it here). The secondary page at crossword.in is devoid of content.
- Our list stops at 2018. A Google Search finds vague and incomplete announcements from 2020 of winners for 2019. It says this was the 17th awards, but obviously there have been more than 17 awards by 2019.
- There is nothing about winners in 2020-present, but somewhere I saw they are taking submissions for 2024.
