Played where?[edit]

I don't doubt that 'Crown Green Bowls is played in the Midlands and Northern half of England, and North Wales.' But that rather implies that it is not played elsewhere, and that I do doubt. 86.185.216.133 (talk) 18:31, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I used to have my lunch in Finsbury Square Gardens off London Wall in the City of London. There used to be a green there, it's all cross rail construction now, but it'll be back. 51.37.189.155 (talk) 09:03, 6 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merger[edit]

Hi. I think this article should be merged with Bowls. I think they describe the same game. --Ifrit.eu (talk) 14:55, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

First played[edit]

Hi! Our infobox uses 1888 as the date of the British Crown Green Bowls association being formed (using [1]). However, this link from bowls.co.uk suggests it's 1907. Lancashire also suggests this date [2] Lee Vilenski (talkcontribs) 08:42, 27 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
