Supersonic aircraft[edit]

There is a discussion of Concorde cruise characteristics at PPrune which implies that Vc is not defined in terms of speed of the aircraft relative to the bulk air. For supersonic craft is it defined as the speed of the air relative to the aircraft behind the shock wave? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Scottwh (talkcontribs) 15:03, 23 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cruising speed of boats[edit]

What about the cruising speed of boats. I was looking for a definition of that, and I couldn't find one. If someone would be so kind as to include that. Bill Heller (talk) 18:06, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly this article isn't about boats. But you might be interested in hull speed. —EncMstr (talk) 21:40, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
