Citation needed[edit]

Is there any particular reason to dispute the monophyletic nature of this genus? No source I've seen has any other species in the genus, and it is a sister taxon to another genus, Melanerpes. Sabine's Sunbird talk 22:02, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
