European Art?

Agree... "Culture" would generally be thought to include art. And architecture, literature, music, theatre, opera, film, etc. etc.

Expansion request

Needs a serious amount of work. The content that's there doesn't begin to cover the subject. --DMG413 00:35, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Certainly, I can't imagine the culture of wherever without reference to its artistic production. Also, I'm not sure whether "Philosophy" adequately covers the political.

How about at least a mention of major European artistic & architectural movements such as Baroque, Renaissance, Gothic and Romantic?

Table of languages

Can we get a table of languages in here? I dunno how to do that--Thewayforward 14:08, 8 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Map

the map about religions is bad. u cant really distuingish catholicism from protestantism

Absolutely agree. Maybe we're colour-blind? Or maybe it is just really bad. What's wrong with Red/Blue? At least you can distinguish them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.224.190.247 (talk) 23:08, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Map

I find amazing that the Catalan culture is lumped with Aragón and the Basque Country and other areas in a new invention named "Pyreenean culture area" when it would very hard to find a connections between the Basque Country and Catalunya. This is the result of either some Catalan dreamer trying to create a new area that has not the Iberian name on it or a result of some extreme ignorance. Curiously enough Catalunya has been populated by the ancient Iberians - not that far ago - as opposed to their neighbors to the West who probably never had more than a passing influence from the Iberians. Check this map please

which clearly include the Eastern part of the Iberian peninsula as an Iberia culture.

quality

this is a seriously poor article. it should really be deleted, unless someone cleans it up soon. 86.162.124.199 (talk) 20:30, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
