Sourcing[edit]

@AMLNet49: When you remove article improvement tags from an article, I'd recommend explaining why in the edit summary, and if necessary, also on the talk page. In this case, the article only has one citation, and it's to Curb's own website. I'm sure, based on the quality of the article so far, that you intend to add sources, and I'm sure that a winning Nascar team like this one will not be hard to find sources for, but until then please leave the tags up until that's done. --Slashme (talk) 06:24, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Another thing: you keep removing the References section from the end of the page, and the citations currently there aren't being used as footnotes. Please see WP:FOOTNOTES and WP:IC for detailed information on how to use citations, but in general, you should put <ref name="something">Reference text</ref> in the text at the first place where you use the citation, and <ref name="something" /> wherever you re-use that reference. --Slashme (talk) 08:48, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • I am using Racing Reference, Jayski, and pictures from Rubbin's Racing and Getty to confirm. I am admittedly poor at adding citations but I will try to get the links on there in the proper format. Also a large portion of the article is simply moved from other pages and cleaned up grammatically, so whatever sources were in the original section should be the same. It's looking much better now, so I've removed the referencing templates. I did take out a reference that you had at the bottom to a forum: they're not generally considered reliable sources; you hadn't linked to a specific post; and it wasn't used to support a specific part of the text. Now if only I could convince you to use edit summaries ;-] --Slashme (talk) 21:18, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment[edit]

I know nothing about Nascar, but I've classified this article as C-class and low-importance. Feel free to change the ratings based on your experience and the rating scheme at Wikipedia:WikiProject_NASCAR/Assessment. --Slashme (talk) 21:23, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting 'Curb Agajanian Performance Group' and 'Baker Curb Racing'[edit]

Curb Agajanian Performance Group and Baker Curb Racing need to be split into two different articles. The two teams are totally different teams that had no connection other than a common part-owner in Mike Curb. This seperation is especially noticable in the case of Baker Curb Racing, Mike Curb was a minority owner who had very interaction with the operations of the team on a daily basis. I say this as someone who worked in the front office of Baker Curb Racing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by M&++r^c97 (talkcontribs) 21:56, 10 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
