Needs fact check[edit]

Some difference between article and sources (eg. year of death 1985 or 1986?)--FloNight 03:26, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

know nothing about him, but this is one of those annoying articles having a new paragraph for each sentence!!! Peter Shearan 05:35, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I added references for both (conflicting) death year claims. I think the cemetery record is probably reliable for the death date, but I wonder if the old trickster gave the right birthdate to whoever's record was used for the military headstone. --Closeapple (talk) 11:58, 3 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tags not necessary, but looks paraphrased from newspaper[edit]

Sources are only required for controversial content. None of the tagged content is controversial. You don't just tag something because you want a source. That said, looks like much of the facts are drawn from an LA Times article ([1]). If the structure of the article annoys you, then don't complain, just edit it. SFGATE article[edit]

A trip down the most mysterious road in California, Zzyzx Road (Jan. 24 '23) I was looking to use this long article to add info to this or Zzyzx, California, but I can't really find anything not already represented. Still useful? Mapsax (talk) 01:30, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
