National anthem

Why does a customs union have a national anthem?

Are you shure ?

Five political centres?

Moscow, Minsk, Astana, – these are the capitals, and then also St. Petersburg and Almaty? And Russian is the only official language? -- megA (talk) 16:26, 6 October 2011 (UTC)

Vietnam

What prevents Vietnam from joining is the ASEAN integration process, not the factually wrong "No customs union has ever admitted a non-contiguous member" (Greece was a non-contiguous member of the EU until 2007). Vietnam, New Zealand and EFTA should be moved to a section about "FTA negotiations". Japinderum (talk) 12:54, 23 January 2013 (UTC)

Did Abkhazia and South Ossetia join?

As previously reported by Russian news agency RIA Novosti, on December 22, Putin signed laws on ratification of trade agreements with Abkhazia and South Ossetia.

Did  Abkhazia and  South Ossetia join on December 22, 2013? [Soffredo] Journeyman 2 19:33, 17 February 2014 (UTC)

@Soffredo:Its hard to get clear information. The website listed is for Eurasian Economic Commission which has a page on Wikipedia Eurasian Economic Commission. There is also the Common Economic Space (CIS). Looks like Armenia has joined or will join mediamax. Finally, it looks like the Customs Union will be superseded by the proposed Eurasian Union.

Correct name for article

Is the Customs Union really referred to as the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia or just the Customs Union?Jonpatterns (talk) 12:38, 26 March 2014 (UTC)

"Eurasian Economic Community customs union" or "EurAsEC customs union" might be more informative titles. TDL (talk) 17:29, 26 March 2014 (UTC)
As no one has complained, I'll go ahead with the move. TDL (talk) 17:13, 28 March 2014 (UTC)
