Naming[edit]

This species has been transferred back to Caladenia but there is a problem with the spelling of the species' name. Ostenfeld called it Caladenia Gertrudiæ^[1] but APNI uses the spelling Caladenia gertrudiae^[2] and Kew Gardens uses Caladenia gertrudeae.^[3] I have written to Kew asking if this is a spelling mistake.
