[edit]

This project is well underway as of July 2010; I felt adding a construction picture would enhance the page. (Unsigned, East13th)

Since the NT Daily switched servers, none of the links to archived articles work any more, which means this page will need some serious clean-up.AndLibertyForAll (talk) 15:21, 9 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Attendance table

[edit]

I have removed the attendance table containing a list of every game for a few reasons:

  • As per WP:NOTSTATSBOOK, Wikipedia does NOT include "Excessive listings of statistics" because "long and sprawling lists of statistics may be confusing to readers and reduce the readability and neatness of our articles. In addition, articles should contain sufficient explanatory text to put statistics within the article in their proper context for a general reader."
  • This list is likely to get out of hand quickly, as the stadium will be around for quite a while. Is it just going to get longer and longer. What purpose would that serve?
  • A complete list of attendance figures is not included in any other Good or Featured Article for stadiums that I have seen in the past.
  • As I've mentioned before, the list is redundant. The information is summarized both in the text and in the chart available. Adding the raw data isn't useful for the average reader.

Because the top-5 attendance figures list won't be ever-expanding, and isn't included in the text, I can probably deal with it.

Additionally, I should point out that this has nothing to do with "relevance," considering obviously all information related to the stadium is "relevant." The purpose of a Wikipedia article isn't to include all relevant information. It should be a summary of information about the subject. This is why the article for Lambeau Field (or any other major stadium) doesn't include a complete list of games played there. Runfellow (talk) 13:30, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
