Surname vs clan[edit]

A note for the Jat editors who are trying to turn this into a page about the clan: the article Dahiya Khap exists about the Jat group; if necessary, please create Dahiya (Jat clan). Implying that all the people listed here are Jats raises WP:BLP concerns.

Dahiya is also a sub-group of other social groups. For example, see Brajadulal Chattopadhyaya (1994). The Making of Early Medieval India. p. 87. such groups as Dahiya brāhmaṇas as well as Dahiya Rajputs who, having originated in the same locality, had strong affinities with each other.

Utkarshraj sir all famous and notable dahiya personalities are Jats. You can research on it and all the people in this list are Jats. And Dahiya surname clan is different and Dahiya Khap is different. Khap is a community organization. Robyndahiya (talk) 20:29, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
