Does anyone actually have some more precise information about this artist's name? Since she was born in Hohnuur, this name would be rendered as ᠳᠠᠶᠢᠴᠢᠩ ᠲᠠᠨᠠ in Mongolian script. Now Daiching Tana doesn't look like a typical compound name, though Daichin (if it is to be identified with Mongolian ᠳᠠᠢᠴᠢᠨ 'warrior' rather than with Chinese ᠳᠠᠢᠴᠢᠩ in spite of the Chinese rendering 黛青) could plausibly be a patronym (though I never came across any person bearing this name). If so, Daichin Tana might be an artist's name, but in her passport (for her 'native name' or 'official name') it might rather be just Tana. It would be good, if anyone has evidence on this, if it could be presented here on the talk page. (Secondly, I noticed that the name is sometimes rendered as 代青, even though the artist clearly uses 黛青 on CD covers. If anybody knows why this is so, it would be nice if somebody could explain.) There is no word ᠳᠠᠶᠢᠴᠢᠩ in Mongolian, the word is the self-designation of the Qing dynasty, ᠲᠠᠢᠴᠢᠨ ᠲᠠᠯᠠ is a common Mongolian word 205.134.180.173 (talk) 21:52, 15 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
