Interpretation[edit]

It should be clarified in the Interpretation section, that DNA analysis strongly contradicts the "Multiregional" origin theory. E.g.: Multiregional_origin_of_modern_humans#Genetic_evidence. Fig (talk) 12:38, 30 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Denisovan?[edit]

Regarding the requested attribution for a proposed link between the Denisovan hominin and the Dali people, this was indicated as a possibility in the presentation Paleoproteomic analysis and human evolution given by Carles Lalueza-Fox on Thursday 13 September 2018 (beginning at 15:30) at The Neanderthal Conference chaired by Clive Finlayson and held over 13-15 September 2018 at the Gibraltar National Museum. Of course, this does not mean that the idea originated with Lalueza-Fox, but I suggest that he is an authoritative source.

21 of the 23 presentations scheduled at this conference are officially published on the Gorham's Cave Gibraltar channel on YouTube here. The relevant slide appears from around 36:30 in Lalueza-Fox's talk. I'm not sure if this is regarded as citable, or how to do so, so I'll leave it to others' judgement. {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.185} 90.197.27.39 (talk) 01:04, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Dali Man[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Dali Man's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Reference named "Chen2019":

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 02:24, 6 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
