Controversy[edit]

The article on controversy is about Intec and Damelin Correspondence, two entities which are distinct from Damelin.

It is recommended that the controversy article be moved to information about Media 24, Educor, or pages with details about Intec or Damelin Correspondence.

Disambiguation of CAA[edit]

The Civil Aviation Authority link should be disambiguated, but has currently been left pointing to the disambiguation list because the South African Civil Aviation Authority article has not as yet been created. --Romney yw (talk) 01:01, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have fixed it. :) Aleksandar Bulovic' (talk) 12:55, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Cleanup[edit]

Hey there, my name is Aleks and I am a Damelin student so I want to make this page better in terms of content delivery and whatnot. If anybody could help improve the article by adding information regarding Damelin with relevant citations, that would go a long way to making this article better. When I look at articles for pages like the University of Pretoria and the University of Johannesburg, I feel that this article has a lot to live up to. For a college that has been around for almost 70 years, it leaves a lot to be desired. Aleksandar Bulovic' (talk) 12:59, 26 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicting Information regarding founders[edit]

I have found sources that say Dr. Benjamin Damelin founded Damelin in 1943[1][2][3] and a Dr Isaac Kriel founding it.[4] However, I have noted that Dr. Damelin founded Dameline while Dr. Kriel founded Damelin College. It is unclear to me whether or not Damelin and Damelin College are different entities. Thoughts? Aleksandar Bulovic' (talk) 19:44, 5 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

lack of logic[edit]

How can this college be merely "one of the largest colleges in South Africa " and "the largest college in Africa"?given there's no evidence for either I'm removing the sentence. DGG ( talk ) 03:29, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Deregistration[edit]

It is official that Damelin is one of several Educor colleges to have their registrations cancelled by the South African Ministry of Higher Education and Training, due to the fact that they did not provide their financial statements for the years 2021 and 2022 and also because they didn't comply with laws.
