Were the 41 sent to Yucatán or not?

[edit]

This article has conflicting information: in the intro section it says "only 12 were eventually sent to work in the Yucatán", but later "the 41 were convicted and conscripted into the army and sent to Yucatán". Which is it? Gymnophoria (talk) 11:13, 13 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
