Could you pls not remove this article/page. I am one of the 300,000 to 500,000 descendants of Daniel LeBlanc, and I appreciate having this article very much. Please don’t take it away. I am a descendent of Daniel LeBlanc. I have a different birth date of 1621.....

His father - Rene LeBlanc, born 1575 in Martaize His Father - Alphonse LeBlanc, born 1550 in Martaize -> married to Isabeau D'Estrade (born Mar. 3, 1555 -> died July 15, 1582) His father - Pierre LeBlanc, born 1475 in Martaize.

Dates of birth for some LeBlanc descendants are incorrect in some sources. Why, I do not know. It seems that Catholic Church Records (they do not contradict what is known and well established) are about the best source for dates of latter descendants. The link to the LeBlanc Family Newsletter should probably be removed. This link is provided by someone as "evidence" that Daniel LeBlanc was of Scottish Ancestry. Most, if not all, of the information in the newsletter is speculative and revolves around a hypothesis. This employee or associate gave a probability estimate to the author of the aforementioned newsletter of whether Daniel was a descendant of a Scotsman; yet, there are no credentials stated for the employee or associate of the DNA testing company for us to reason that the employee or associate was qualified to make such a statement.
