Fair use rationale for Image:Chuck Rio.png

[edit]

Image:Chuck Rio.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

(15 years later) Why don't we replace the photo, then, since our project is supposed cover subjects in an encyclopedic fashion? 173.88.246.138 (talk) 22:36, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bot report : Found duplicate references !

[edit]

In the last revision I edited, I found duplicate named references, i.e. references sharing the same name, but not having the same content. Please check them, as I am not able to fix them automatically :)

additions/corrections for Danny Flores

[edit]

Cliff Hill played bass on "Tequila" but never joined the band. The only involvement of Duvall was as one of the voices shouting "Tequila" at the end, however probably he did play (rhy gtr, I think) on the flip. There was no actual "Champs" group until the record began to hit & they had to put a band on the rd. Burgess was already recording & running the Challenge lbl (for owner Gene Autry) before all that. My info comes from speaking w/nearly every living member & my article is online. (I played many gigs w/Danny F in the 80s-90s). I emailed Dave Burgess about "Danny & Dave" There was no such thing & they had never worked together outside the studio until the record began to hit. That other gtr man was Buddy Bruce (not Benny); he did not become a member of the band. It was Dale Norris who went on the rd w/them. (Dale has been a good friend since early-mid 70s & I've done a ton of gigs w/him). It's my understanding that Danny did eventually get royalties before he passed. My own article on the Champs is on the topshelfoldies site. Gem777 (talk) 19:00, 6 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
