[edit]Not yet editing to contest the notability tag, but while this page could be expanded to meet the guidelines, Darkmatter should meet the requirements. Here are some articles referring to them, to start off with:
as well as college campus newspapers. Esqg (talk)
This page was tagged for "lack of notability" on Sept 11 2015 by an unknown user. This could be due to not enough sources cited mentioning them, or the controversial nature of their political work. Since then the page has been updated to show several news articles, many recent. It appears that the statements on the page now reflect the biographical standards, so I have removed the deletion request. Esqg (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 01:15, 18 September 2015 (UTC)

Question
[edit]Why is there no link for Alok Vaid-Mennon and Janani Balasubramanian? The descriptions of both of these poets is poorly done and I would like to add a Wikipedia profile for at least Alok Vaid-Mennon.
Why are there no links to their poetry or spoken word? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Evanalligatorwhite (talk • contribs) 14:37, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Evanalligatorwhite: I moved your comments to this new section as you improperly placed them inside other unrelated sections. Especially as it appears from their web site that Darkmatter is officially disbanding, it might indeed make sense to create separate articles on Alok Vaid-Menon and Janani Balasubramanian. The challenge is to find enough reliable sources to establish individual notability. As far as having links to their works, excessive external links are discouraged on Wikipedia (links to official web sites are OK). Funcrunch (talk) 18:02, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
