The previous deletion of this article is ridiculous. There's detailed description of each character in the imaginary Star Wars universe, but a tangible, multi-million dollar company is not interesting enough? Come on.

Alas, the Wikipedia guidelines are not based on being "interesting" but being notable and using neutral tone, not being promotions. W Nowicki (talk) 22:25, 11 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Suggest move?[edit]

To be consistent with others and the current common name, how about EMC Data Domain?

Another comment: does not even mention the IPO in 2007! This is pretty woeful. W Nowicki (talk) 23:41, 11 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Let's go: I think a move makes sense. EMC Data Domain is consistent with other product pages, including company acquisitions like this one. 4 years later, let's make this happen. If I see no objections here, as it's a non-controversial move, I'll initiate myself next week. Vanhoosear (talk) 18:40, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Alas, it looks like instead of a move, it might have been cut-n-pasted into a new article that is now at Dell EMC Data Domain. These are clearly redundant, and should be merged instead. Probably from here into that one, since it is more up to date? W Nowicki (talk) 20:03, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
