Needs work[edit]

This article fails to actually define what Data Center Bridging is. Gerdescm (talk) 20:14, 11 December 2010 (UTC) Christopher Gerdes (MA CS, BS CE, BS CS)[reply]

Yes, it needs a lead section that puts it into context, and more in the body about how it relates to other technologies etc. And of course needs references, and red link cleanup. Also need to mention the Nuovo elephant. W Nowicki (talk) 23:56, 5 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I would also add that inline links are not citations. And please spell out every acronym on first use. W Nowicki (talk) 18:05, 28 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dubious[edit]

Data Center Ethernet (DCE) was a term originally coined and trademarked by Cisco...

Perhaps the editor who added with without a source was thinking about Nuovo? A quick check with the US trademark database shows it was Brocade, not Cisco Systems? http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/showfield?f=doc&state=4007:ta5emm.2.1
