Flying V "numbered"?
[edit]As Gibson used serial numbers on most of their instruments I found the use of "numbered" interesting. If the author/editor was intending to indicate a relatively small production run there may be a better way of indicating that. I was tempted to edit, but since I am unsure of the intentions I felt it best to mention here. If there is any agreement that an edit should be done, I would be happy to do so. Thoughts?THX1136 (talk) 13:58, 11 April 2017 (UTC)

Lisbet who?
[edit]The article says:
> In 1967, Davies married Lisbet (a cousin of Pete Quaife's first wife, Annette) and they divorced in 1990.
Did Lisbet have a last name before she married Davies? -- Dan Griscom (talk) 13:55, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
Variation of Flying V Story
[edit]Theres a youtube interview here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jrm1sFVBHLI where he also tells the story of how he started with the flying V. The details are MOSTLY the same, however in this interview he states it was a Gretch (that he had obtained from George Harrison) and the V was on the wall worth $200 rather than $60. Not sure which version of the story is true. I'm more inclined to believe the $60 value more likely as he stated it was cheap, and $200 in '65 money is nearly $2K now. As for the Gretch? Hard to say, being a Harrison guitar that parts probably verifiable or not. Davies is a fairly old dude, so I'm sure he can be forgiven if the details have gotten vague over time, its nearly 60 years ago. Duckmonster (talk) 01:10, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
