Process Issues

  1. I was so surprised at the lack of discussion here that i reviewed each talk-edit. The good news is that no comments have been removed as of this date.
  2. The heavy presence of edits by User:Dbader suggests the need for a review of the article history to ensure that the embarrassing constant references to "Dr. Bader", contrary to WP style, are the worst of the sucking up to the subject's point of view.
  3. The one anon, and one, signed msg in the Permission section above are grossly inadequate to treat the apparent subject matter. What is their context? Has this material, or material essentially identical in expression, appeared elsewhere w/o inclusion of a GFDL-compatible disavowal of virtually all of the normal exclusive rights of authorship (which exist even w/o a copyright notice)? Has this ever been evaluated as a possible copyvio?

Aside from the MOS issues, I can confirm that those edits are by the article subject; however, I can also confirm that they are in good faith and released under the GDFL. Additionally, I've been going over references relating to his biography and they all check out. So, while he may have contributed to his bio, he has followed Wikipedia policies (except possibly WP:MOS and WP:COI), but it's not too much of a problem as he is definitely notable (the STI Cell Center by itself is enough for WP:N and WP:V) and MOS errors are easily fixed. As for possible copyvio, I wrote most of this article as it currently exists. So, the insinuation that it is a copyvio is somewhat offensive. A previous version (see the message above yours) was directly copied by David Bader from his CV to Wikipedia, but it has been heavily edited and referenced since then to match (most) WP style guidelines. —Disavian (talk/contribs) 01:46, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Um, actually... There could now be a "controversy" section, so perhaps edits need to be monitored more closely. And many of the listed projects are over. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:1700:37B0:26C0:6899:44D5:5DD6:DD69 (talk) 23:43, 9 June 2019 (UTC)
