Silver Jewelry

Berman in hospital in 1984?
"In 1984, Berman was hospitalized for "Approaching Perfection." He was in Europe at the time and has claimed that a "correction" needed to be made."
These are in the lyrics for Random Rules, a song in which he refers to himself as "Steve." Is it fact that Berman was actually in hospital for some ailment in 1984? I think it's hilarious that someone added it, but perhaps it can be deleted unless it's verified?
