Thanks for putting up this page :-)

I have a couple of photos of David that I took and that I could submit here. However I'm not sure if I should do this, with Aboriginal culture in mind, where photos of deceased people are often used with care (afaik) . Mmm, you met him? Took pictures? Oh, nice. On the one hand, I have great respect for the values of different cultures, and most especially for the specific beliefs of an individual. On the other hand, I was going to go begging for images to use here. It seems to me that our purposes are laudatory; do you think that would qualify as "used with care"? The image in your gallery of Mr. Blanasi playing seems especially apropos. The decision is yours of course, but if you choose to allow them here and share them with WP, I'd certainly be grateful, and I think the article would benefit. I indeed met him. I attended a concert of him with White Cockatoo (see some other pics on my site) and a workshop. I have no problems putting (parts of) a picture up here, if no one else opposes. Will take a few days though (busy right now and a gig tomorrow). B.t.w. I've met a few more famous didge players such as Djalu Gurruwiwi, Mark Atkins, Charlie McMahon, Ash Dargan, Allan Dargin, Stephen Kent, etc. ;-) I haven't got own photos of all of them though (I often just like to be at their gigs or workshops and chat with them ;-) ). Nice! I know a spot where Jazz musicians and Blues players like to drink and talk, I expect it's similar : ) Doc Tropics 08:29, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
BTW - I think that if the three of us work together on some of these bio pages, we could add some good content to WP. I have a workpage called Tabula generica which could be used for discussion if we want to plan things; it might help avoid duplication or accidently starting 2 pages for the same subject. I understand about being busy in RL, so we'll see you...when we see you. Doc Tropics 08:29, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
