The earlier version of this page hot-linked to a popular Sri Lankan entertainer who bears the same family name.

Adding the acronym QC - English abbreviation for Queen's Counsel, an honorific used as part of the barrister's professional name - distinguishes Mr. de Silva QC from Mr. de Silva the entertainer.

More information concerning Desmond de Silva QC may be obtained from his web site, http://www.2pb.co.uk/.

It was my privilege to serve as Counsel to the Prosecutor of the Special Court for Sierra Leone, 2002-2003. In that capacity, I worked with Mr. Crane and Mr. de Silva QC daily.
