Personal Life

In this section, the name of the school is incorrect for the time of David's tenure there. I went to that same school at about the time when David Plastow was in his final year of secondary education. The correct name was The Clee Humberstone Foundation School, abbreviated to CHFS. It was a boys' school, named after its founder, in the 1700's, Matthew Humberstone, whose family had some connection with the nearby village of Humberston, which was a mile or two to the East of Cleethorpes.
