Genealogical research

I looked for records on Ancestry about Polland. In the U.S., World War II Draft Cards Young Men, 1940-1947, his full name is given as David Samuel Polland. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, on the 24th of June 1908. In the 1930 Census, his parents are shown as Sarah and Hyman Polland, who were both born in Russia. He had two brothers, Simon and Abraham, and a sister, Sadie.

A tree which uses the draft card as a source says that he married Dorothy Heller (1907-1970) in 1941. They give David's death as occurring in 1991 in Brooklyn but provide no source for that claim. Skycloud86 (talk) 01:25, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
