Desoto Site or Fort DeSoto[edit]

Which park is this article supposed to be about? The one reference for the article says DeSoto site which is in Leon County but the picture is from Fort DeSoto which is in Pinellas County and isn't even a state park. It belongs to the county. CJ 15:17, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm having trouble confirming its existence[edit]

http://www.visitflorida.com/en-us/listings/001/a0t40000007qvW9AAI.html says "The site of the Hernando de Soto Winter Encampment is located at the B. Calvin Jones Center, home to the offices of the Florida Division of Historical Resources, Bureau of Archaeological Research." Maybe it was planned to be a state park at one time, but it now seems to be owned by the Bureau of Archaeological Research. --NE2 04:49, 28 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

==Article Rating== Well it's obviously a stub. It definitely needs more content but there's not too much that's going to come from the existing reference. CJ 13:59, 20 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
