Yes, obviously we haven't heard it yet but I'm including Alt Metal because Ryan Shuck said the album will be heavier than JK. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.164.135.215 (talk) 22:26, 3 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge with "Chester Bennington article"

[edit]

Chester said in an interview,"We were called Snow White Tan for a while, and then I changed the name to Dead By Sunrise, but I really just like Chester Bennington."

It's his solo album now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.97.105.38 (talk) 02:47, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In the same sense, you might as well call Fort Minor "Mike Shinoda," considering The Rising Tied is Shinoda's solo effort. Vixen Windstorm (talk) 03:09, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well Mike clearly said his thing is "Fort Minor" Chester clearly said that he's naming it under his own name, implying its solo, not a whole different band. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.97.105.38 (talk) 23:08, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Uhh...

[edit]

Where does he clearly say "My new project is called Chester Bennington" Hint: Nowhere. He says he likes Chester Bennington as the name, but never said that's what it is. You people are reading too far into this, and their are plenty of reliable sources which CLEARLY indicate that this project's official name is, in fact, Dead By Sunrise. It includes him and memebers of Julien-K which *gasp* makes them a band! Go figure right? Well, I'll go find those sources I was talking about and allow time for thinking, ok? 96.243.5.226 (talk) 13:26, 23 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Aren't they kinda more well known for being members of Orgy?99.54.188.157 (talk) 01:30, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Nope, LP's and JK's MySpace say they're from Julien-K. ... So does the offical LP site, I think.

Is it really synth rock?

[edit]

Seriously... I know before anything had been heard Chester said there would be electronics, but in the four songs we've heard there have been none whatsoever.

Vandalism

[edit]

This page has been badly Vandalised someone needs to change it back. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aaronallknowingone (talkcontribs) 19:54, 10 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Brandon. Seriously.

[edit]

Someone needs to keep track of this page and make a final decision on Brandon's status; what I edit in (twice, both times with a ref and a logical conclusion) has been consistently removed for absolutely no reason. Since there is no official confirmation on the issue, and Brandon's definite departure from Julien-K as a hint towards him leaving DBS as well, what I added was the best thing we have to an answer. I'd put it in yet again if I didn't think it would count as an edit war.

If the people who removed it would actually give a reason, I'd be fine with it. But since they left no edit summary, and since both times it was an IP, I'm bringing it here.

Someone more important, please come in here and end this once and for all. —烏Γ (kaw at me), 05:55, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
