This article appears to be a long way from meeting the GACR. The entire "Through the years" section is a bulleted list, on which many entries are unsourced or sourced to primary sources. Numerous other statements throughout the article are also unsourced. The sole source in the "Deadhead Day" section is regarding the date of their final concert; none of the rest of that section is referenced to a secondary source.

The "Famous Deadheads" section is highly dubious. Some entries are unsourced. Others are only sourced to primary or unreliable sources. (Ref 40 is a direction to look at an album in a mirror!) It makes no distinction between people who casually say they were fans of the Dead and people who were hardcore follow-the-band-around Deadheads. Frankly I'm of the opinion that anyone who lacks sourcing that confirms they were a hardcore follower or that their music (or other creative output) was significantly influenced by the Dead should be removed. Otherwise this might as well be an indiscriminate list of everyone famous who's ever liked a fairly popular and influential band.

This needs to be revamped from the ground up before it's renominated. ♠PMC(talk) 08:28, 7 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
