Propose: Merge this small article into pruning. Can this article be elaborated past a dictionary definition of the term? If not I suggest sticking the difference into the deadheading section of the Pruning article. Dogsgomoo 13:54, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There are other uses of the term besides pruning. In fact, before stumbling upon the redirect, I didn't know such use was extant, let alone common. I was searching for the railroad term, myself. this page should be a disambiguation page, imo.oknazevad (talk) 18:33, 4 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

– Users researching fans of the Grateful Dead will continue to directly access the entry about them by simply typing "Deadhead". The hatnote atop that entry — For other uses, see Deadhead (disambiguation). — can be revised to state — For other uses, see Deadheading (disambiguation). There is no need for two separate dab pages — the multi-entry Deadhead (disambiguation) and the three-entry Deadheading — when all three entries from the Deadheading dab page also appear upon the Deadhead (disambiguation) page. The move of Deadhead (disambiguation) to Deadheading will also eliminate the need for the parenthetical qualifier "(disambiguation)". — Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 06:10, 9 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
